Haywood Regional Medical Center Update  03-05-08

 

The Hospital Board and administration continue their aggressive strategies to restore certification for Medicare/Medicaid coverage.  Following are today’s updates:

 

 

 Now as ever, HRMC patients are receiving personalized, compassionate, quality patient care!  We are open for inpatient and outpatient services, as well as emergency and urgent care services.  Rest assured that patients are receiving top notch and excellent care.

 

Insurance providers are updated on our web-site regularly. 

 

      The Power of Optimism

 

There will be a community-wide prayer gathering in front of HRMC on Monday, March 10 at 12:00 noon. Everyone wishing to participate is welcome.

 

 

·          Imaging Services at HRMC

Patients in need of imaging services can be assured that all patients will continue to receive services. Precertification forms should stipulate the provider as Haywood Medical Imaging.  Registration and patient flow procedures will continue as usual. At this time it is expected Blue Cross/Blue Shield patients can be scheduled in 3-5 days to allow for time for precertification.
