Press release regarding the HRMC/Compass Group
Plan of Action

As part of the process that HRMC has implemented, the hospital, along with its
Compass Group consultants have established a plan of action to be prepared for
Medicare and Medicaid recertification inspection by our target date of March
31, 2008.
We have established 12 task groups to address the specific areas of concern
pointed out by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Each
group has already completed its initial meeting and is involved in analyzing
the processes that surround their specific area. As new processes are
identified education and training programs will be developed.
Administration appreciates the dedication and support of the employees and
medical staff and their willingness to get involved, share their ideas and work
together through the process.
The goal is to develop solid, sustainable processes not only to regain our
Medicare and Medicaid certification but to move HRMC forward into the future.
